Reporting To : Parks and Amenities Superintendent

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
(a) Higher National Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture or equivalent.
(b) National Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture
(c) 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English Language
(d) 3 years Post qualification experience in Horticulture management

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. To supervise the maintenance of the City’s Islands, gardens, plantations, open spaces and cemeteries
b. Supervision and maintenance of the City’s Islands, nurseries and cemeteries
c. Monitoring and implementation of work plans for Parks employees
d. Supervision of subordinates
e. Collects and records burial information in cemetery record books.
f. Performs any other duty within the scope of this job as assigned by superiors from time to -time.
