Preamble

The City of Masvingo Clients Service Charter is a derivative of inclusive clients’ consultative fora and is subordinate to the City of Masvingo Strategic Plan. Each Department’s Clients Service Charter is aligned to the overarching City of Masvingo Clients Service Charter. The Charters are based on Core Values, Vision and Mission Statements. The city has ten wards.

1.ENGINEERING SERVICES

Providing strategic guidance on land use practices in conformity with planning regulations:

  • Constructing and maintaining infrastructure of the City according to maintenance schedules;
  • Providing clean and potable water; according to WHO standards
  • Collecting, treating and disposing waste water according to set standards.

2.HEALTH

  • Providing public health through prevention and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases;
  • Offering accessible, affordable, and acceptable primary healthcare services; and
  • Keeping the City of Masvingo clean, healthy and meeting environmental standards.

3.TREASURY

  • Error free billing for services within stipulated times;
  • Involving stakeholders in budgeting processes; and
