*URGENT PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT* *RESIDENTS OF MASVINGO CITY* *WARNING AGAINST MPOX OUTBREAK*

We urge all residents to take immediate precautions against the Monkeypox (MPOX) outbreak. This viral disease is spreading rapidly, and it’s crucial to recognize the signs and symptoms to protect yourself and your loved ones.
*SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS: *
– Fever
– Headache
– Muscle aches
– Swollen lymph nodes
– Rash or blisters on the skin
*PREVENTIVE ACTIONS: *
1. Practice good hygiene: Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.
2. Avoid close contact with infected individuals.
3. Wear protective clothing, including masks and gloves, when caring for sick individuals.
4. Avoid touching or eating animals that may carry the virus.
5. Avoid travelling to countries where the outbreak has been reported.
*REPORT CASES IMMEDIATELY: *
If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms, or has travelled from countries were the outbreak is still on must report to:
*MASVINGO CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
*DO NOT DELAY! *
Early detection and treatment are critical in preventing the spread of MPOX. Let’s work together to keep our community safe.
*STAY INFORMED, STAY SAFE! *
For updates and guidance, follow official health channels and local authorities.

City of Masvingo Client Satisfaction Survey 2023 Second Quarter

We are conducting a Client Satisfaction Survey targeting residents, ratepayers, business community, potential investors and other stakeholders’ perceptions and opinions of the City of Masvingo.
