AVAILABLE SERVICES DURING THE COUNTRYWIDE LOCKDOWN

The Statutory Instrument 83 of 2020 (Public Health (Covid-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment)  (National Lockdown) Order 2020) states that: Local Government organizations providing essential services such as hospital services, fire brigade and ambulance services, sewerage or sanitary services and supply distribution of water are to remain open during the 21 day countrywide lockdown.

As such, the City of Masvingo would like to notify its stakeholders, ratepayers and residents that as per the Presidential Announcement of Friday, 27 March 2020 the following measures will be implemented to ensure the smooth provision of Municipality services.

1. All clients wishing to contact the Municipality should do so on 039 2262431-4

2. For any emergency or reports on service faults during the lockdown period, contact us on:

3. The City of Masvingo is therefore discouraging clients from visiting the Town House at Civic Centre for services. In the event that clients MUST visit the Town House, there will be mandatory sanitising with an alcohol based sanitiser and social distancing will be observed.

The City of Masvingo would like to encourage its stakeholders, ratepayers and residents to make use of the digital payment platforms given instead of visiting Revenue Halls. As a measure to curb further incursions of the Corona Virus (Covid – 19) our valued clients and staff are kindly requested to visit the Revenue Hall ONLY when it is necessary.
