Today, City of Masvingo received visitors from Germany celebrating 40 years of the twinning arrangement between Kernen City of Germany and City of Masvingo.

The arrangement saw the coming up of craft centre, upgrading of Batanai Old People’s Home, Alpha Cottages Children Home, Kernen Park, Runyararo Clinic, and donation of ambulances among other developments.

The event was attended by His Worship, the Mayor Cllr Aleck Tabe, Deputy Mayor, Cllr Daniel Mberikunashe, councillos, Masvingo Kernen Association and Council management.

The team also had an excursion to all Council facilities they funded.
