Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for appointment to the following positions in the Town Clerk’s Office.

Grade : 8
Job Purpose
The Content Creator is responsible for producing high-quality multimedia content that promotes the organisation’s programmes, projects, services, achievements and public engagement initiatives through photography, videography, digital storytelling and social media communication.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
- .HND/Bachelor`s Degree in Digital Media/ Graphic Design/ Film & Television/ Animation Communications/ Public Relations/ Journalism/ Equivalent from a recognised institution.
- . 5 “O” Levels including English Language/Literature and Mathematics
(c). Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel) a must.
(d). Proficiency in professional creative softwares such as Adobe Premiere, After effects, Photoshop, Illustrator. Lightroom or DaVinci Resolve.
(e). Demonstrable proficiency in photography, videography, video editing, graphic design, audio production, digital storytelling and social media content creation.
(f). Professional qualifications or training in photography, videography, graphic design, digital marketing, content creation will be an added advantage
(g) 2 years’ relevant professional experience in content creation, multimedia production, journalism, digital media or related field.
(h) A strong professional portfolio and/or showreel demonstrating previous multimedia and content-production work will be required.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture professional photographs and videos of Council programmes, projects, events, meetings, ceremonies, and field activities.
- Plan, script, film, edit and produce documentaries, promotional videos, success stories, testimonials, management profiles and public awareness content.
- Develop engaging digital stories, feature articles, human-interest stories, social media content, captions, scripts and communication materials.
- Conduct interviews and produce impact stories highlighting programme achievements and beneficiary experiences.
- Provide live streaming and real-time multimedia coverage of events, conferences, campaigns and stakeholder engagements.
- Edit photographs, videos, audio and other digital content to professional standards for publication across various communication platforms.
- Create and manage content for websites, social media platforms, newsletters, annual reports, brochures and other corporate publications.
- Assist in implementing communication, public relations, media engagement and stakeholder awareness strategies.
- Ensure all content adheres to Council branding, communication guidelines and professional standards.
- Maintain and manage a comprehensive digital archive of photographs, videos, and other multimedia assets.
- Monitor content performance, audience engagement and digital media trends.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and project-specific reports on content production and digital engagement.
- Promote and protect the organisation’s image through accurate, timely and professional communication.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors in support of organisational objectives.
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
The successful candidates will be engaged on terms and conditions applicable to Council’s approved establishment and employment policies. The positions will be subject to the approved salary grade, benefits and other applicable conditions of service.
