City of Masvingo Showcases Opportunities and Compliance in the Construction Industry

The City of Masvingo took part in the Zimbabwe Building Contractors Association (ZBCA) formalisation meeting, where it highlighted local opportunities and key compliance expectations in the construction sector.

In his presentation, Assistant Director Engineering Services, Pr. Eng. W Madzivadondo emphasized the importance of contractor registration, adherence to building standards, and collaboration in infrastructure development.

He also shared upcoming Council projects and urged contractors to formalize operations for better access to tenders and support services.

The engagement reaffirmed the City of Masvingo’s commitment to transparent, inclusive, and regulated development that boosts local industry and service delivery.
