City of Masvingo Holds Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Fundraising Dinner and Raises 13,300

The City of Masvingo successfully hosted the Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Fundraising Dinner, raising a total of US13,300 towards the 2025 Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Fund.

The event, held at Urban Lifestyle Arena , brought together corporates, community leaders, and well-wishers under one roof in a united show of generosity and community spirit.

Guest of Honour, Mr Noah Marima commended the City for its commitment to supporting vulnerable members of the community, especially during the festive season.

His Worship, the Mayor Cllr Aleck Tabe expressed gratitude to all sponsors and partners for their unwavering support.

The funds raised will go towards purchasing groceries, clothing, and essential supplies for orphanages, the elderly, and other underprivileged groups in Masvingo.

The City remains committed to inclusive development and promoting social welfare through partnerships with various stakeholders.
