City of Masvingo Participates in the youth march for safer communities against drug and substance abuse

Council today joined the province in the drive against drug and substance abuse with a march for safer communities from Chesvingo Business Centre (Sisk), through Mucheke Shopping Centre (rank) enroute to Mucheke Stadium.

The march was organised by Masvingo Province Drug and Substance Abuse Committee through its Demand Reduction Pillar led by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training.

Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon E. R Chadzamira was the guest of honour and addressed the gathering.

His Worship, the Mayor of City of Masvingo, Cllr Aleck Tabe gave a presentation on the strides being made by Council in the fight against drug and substance abuse.
