Working together for a clean and Healthy Environment

In the spirit of creating clean, safe and a healthy environment, the City of Masvingo declares Masvingo as a non-littering zone and joined the rest of the country in commemorating the National Clean Up Campaign which is held every first Friday of the each month by cleaning Gomba shopping Centre and the surrounding environment.

Deputy Mayor Councilor Wellington Mawende encouraged residents to keep the city clean.

Councilor R. Kamuzonda ( Ward 3 ), Junior Councilors, the acting Town Clerk Mr. V Shonhai, the acting Director of Housing and Social Services Mr. Mandishona, Chief Environmental Health Officer, Ms S. H. Madamombe, Council staff, corporates; NSSA, ByWord, Ok Mart, NAC, EMA and FAZ joined Runyararo West residents in cleaning Gomba shopping centre.
