City of Masvingo Engages in Friendly Matches to Promote Wellness and Team Spirit

In a vibrant display of community and camaraderie, the City of Masvingo recently participated in a series of friendly sports matches involving Council staff and various teams at Neshuro growth point on Saturday the 3rd of May 2025.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote employee wellness, team-building for improved service delivery.

Matches were held in soccer, netball, chess, tug of war and volleyball, bringing together staff members and communities. The games were not just about competition, but about unity, fitness, and fun.

Council plans to make the friendly matches a regular activity, reinforcing a culture of engagement and holistic well-being.
