City of Masvingo invests in occupational health and safety for improved employee Well-being 

Council has since the introduction of wellness Wednesday prioritizing employee health and wellness for the purposes of improved productivity and service delivery.

Employee health and wellness is an imperative factor in service delivery as it helps ensure that employees stay focused and are more productive, which harnesses the quality of performance output. 

Employee health and wellness also helps maintain sustainable levels of employee engagement in executing duties. Council quality statement emphasizes on innovative delivery of improved quality services. In order to fulfill this commitment employee are required to be well physician, mentally and socially.
