DECOMISSIONING OF THE CITY OF MASVINGO’S LAWN CEMETERY

Notice is hereby given in terms of Cemetery Act Chapter 5.04, that the City of Masvingo’s Lawn cemetery has run out of burial space and no more regular burials for adults can be undertaken at the cemetery. However, burials remain available in the children’s section and for individuals with graves that are under reservation. We urge all those who have reserved graves in Council cemeteries to pay their annual grave rental fees, which are currently pegged at USD $17-00 per grave per year and to clear any outstanding arrears.
