Runyararo North-West Clinic nearing completion

The finish line is in sight for the new Runyararo North-West Clinic, following a year of construction. Crews are plastering walls, roofing, electrical connections. The new facility is expected to be opening by year-end.

The facility will accommodate advances in medical technology, increase in capacity and cater for primary health care.

It will feature:
• An enlarged emergency department with twice the floor space of the current one at Runyararo Clinic.
• Individual patient rooms that provide increased privacy and comfort for patients.
• Walking trails
• A parking structure with limited spaces though.

The new clinic is part of the Council’s infrastructure renewal projects. Besides all the physical enhancements, the Department of Health Services is – working on digital tools that will improve the patient experience.
